This would be much better if 75% of the animators didn't forget about the portal gun.

The first videogame wasn't pong, you bafoon! It was galaxy wars/space wars depending on the version. However it was determined to be too difficult, and as of such they created something simpler, pong.

Also, they battled to CAUGHT the player's attention.
